Draught-proofing for Cwmbran properties
If your property is in Cwmbran or the NP44 district or nearby Pontypool, Risca and Newport, it is within our Gwent coverage. It is about 5 miles north of Newport.
We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Cwmbran homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry. Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Cwmbran homes of every age.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Cwmbran, filling a cavity is notifiable work under the Building Regulations as they apply in Wales, usually self-certified through a competent person scheme.
Funding in Wales
In Wales, Warm Homes Nest offers free improvements to eligible low-income households, and ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
