Draught-proofing for Islington properties
We cover Islington and the N1 postcode district, including nearby Highbury, Holloway and Camden Town. It is around 2 miles north-east of London.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Islington homes of every age. In Islington homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Islington, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
