Draught-proofing for Macclesfield properties
Macclesfield sits in Cheshire, roughly 32 miles east of Chester. We work across the SK11 district, including nearby Wilmslow, Congleton and Northwich.
In Macclesfield homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip. We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Macclesfield homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry.
On the rules side, if cavity wall insulation follows in Macclesfield, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
