Draught-proofing for Chester properties
If your property is in Chester or the CH1 district or nearby Ellesmere Port Town, Runcorn and Widnes, it is within our Cheshire coverage. Chester is one of the main towns we cover in Cheshire.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Chester homes of every age. In Chester homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Chester, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
