Draught-proofing for Wokingham properties
Wokingham is among the towns we cover in Berkshire, alongside Crowthorne, Bracknell and Lower Earley. It is around 7 miles south-east of Reading.
Where a Wokingham home also has empty cavity walls, we can survey those at the same time. In Wokingham homes this is often done on the same visit as a cavity fill, which saves a second trip.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Wokingham, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
