Draught-proofing for Bedford properties
Our Bedfordshire coverage takes in Bedford (MK40) and nearby Ampthill, Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable. Bedford is one of the main towns we cover in Bedfordshire.
Small measures like this are often among the cheapest per pound saved, and they suit Bedford homes of every age. We check ventilation as carefully as insulation in Bedford homes, because both matter for keeping a house dry.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Bedford, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Funding in England
In England, ECO4 runs to 31 December 2026 and Warm Homes: Local Grant supports low-income households through councils.

Ventilation still matters
Trickle vents, air bricks and extractor fans are there for a reason. We seal accidental gaps, not the ventilation your home needs to keep condensation down.
