Damp investigation after cavity insulation for Welling properties
If your property is in Welling or the DA16 district or nearby Bexley, Eltham and Thamesmead, it is within our Greater London coverage. It is roughly 11 miles east of London.
We never cold-call in Welling or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. Where a Welling wall does need work, bricks are lifted and rebuilt in matching mortar, and the cavity is checked with a camera before it is closed up.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Much of Greater London sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
As for paperwork, if cavity wall insulation follows in Welling, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
