Cavity wall suitability survey for Camberley properties
Our Surrey coverage takes in Camberley (GU15) and nearby Woking, Farnham and Guildford. It is about 10 miles north-west of Guildford.
Buyers and sellers in Camberley often book this check when a survey report or EPC raises questions about the walls. Where a Camberley wall shows cold patches or damp, the survey targets those areas first rather than sampling at random.
Wind-driven rain is the first thing the surveyor weighs up. Much of Surrey sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
On compliance, in Camberley filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Rules in England
Filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification if insulation work follows.
