Cavity wall suitability survey for Darton properties
We cover Darton and the S75 postcode district, including nearby Barnsley, Chapeltown and Rotherham. It is roughly 14 miles north of Sheffield.
A survey in Darton gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound. Buyers and sellers in Darton often book this check when a survey report or EPC raises questions about the walls.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. South Yorkshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
For regulations, in Darton filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

The survey is free with an install quote. A standalone report is not insulation, so it is normally standard-rated for VAT; guide prices include VAT.
