Cavity wall suitability survey in Dover

Cavity wall suitability survey for Dover properties

Dover is among the towns we cover in Kent, alongside Folkestone, Deal and Canterbury. It is roughly 36 miles east of Maidstone.

Buyers and sellers in Dover often book this check when a survey report or EPC raises questions about the walls. The written result for your Dover property is plain English: what we found, what it means and what, if anything, to do next.

Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Much of Kent sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.

On compliance, in Dover filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

What you get

A clear result: suitable, suitable after repairs, or not suitable. Where repairs are needed first, they are listed and priced separately so you can choose who does them. The survey is free when you are getting an install quote.

What is included in Dover

Guide prices for Dover

The survey is free with an install quote. A standalone report is not insulation, so it is normally standard-rated for VAT; guide prices include VAT. Guide ranges only: the fixed price is confirmed in writing before any work starts, and anything that could not be seen at survey is agreed with you first.
