Cavity wall suitability survey for Bideford properties
If your property is in Bideford or the EX39 district or nearby Barnstaple, Tiverton and Exeter, it is within our Devon coverage. It is about 36 miles north-west of Exeter.
Every inspection point in Bideford is photographed and logged, so you have a record to show a buyer, lender or contractor. The written result for your Bideford property is plain English: what we found, what it means and what, if anything, to do next.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Parts of Devon face some of the heaviest wind-driven rain in the UK, especially exposed coastal and upland sites. Here the survey is stricter: some walls suit only certain certified systems, and some should not be filled at all.
On the rules side, in Bideford filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
