Cavity wall insulation removal for Cleckheaton properties
Our West Yorkshire coverage takes in Cleckheaton (BD19) and nearby Brighouse, Batley and Dewsbury. It is roughly 9 miles south-west of Leeds.
We never cold-call in Cleckheaton or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. If your Cleckheaton installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. West Yorkshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Cleckheaton, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

If you have a guarantee
Contact your original installer first. If that does not resolve it within two months, CIGA's process applies for CIGA-guaranteed installs. Removing insulation yourself can void a guarantee, so speak to the provider before work.
