Cavity wall insulation removal for Sheffield properties
Our South Yorkshire coverage takes in Sheffield (S1) and nearby Rotherham, Chapeltown and Barnsley. Sheffield is one of the main towns we cover in South Yorkshire.
We never cold-call in Sheffield or anywhere else, and we do not work with doorstep claims companies. If your Sheffield installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. South Yorkshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Sheffield, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

How extraction works
Bricks are carefully removed in a line near the base and at intervals higher up where needed. The fill is broken up and drawn out with an extraction vacuum, the cavity is cleared and checked with a camera, and the bricks are rebuilt in matching mortar. Extracted material is bagged and disposed of properly.
What is included in Sheffield
