Cavity wall insulation removal for Wellingborough properties
We cover Wellingborough and the NN8 postcode district, including nearby Rushden, Kettering and Northampton. It is roughly 9 miles north-east of Northampton.
If your Wellingborough installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work. Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Wellingborough properties, so you can choose who fixes them.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Much of Northamptonshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Wellingborough, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

If you have a guarantee
Contact your original installer first. If that does not resolve it within two months, CIGA's process applies for CIGA-guaranteed installs. Removing insulation yourself can void a guarantee, so speak to the provider before work.
