Cavity wall insulation removal for Droylsden properties
If your property is in Droylsden or the M43 district or nearby Failsworth, Denton and Ashton-under-Lyne, it is within our Greater Manchester coverage. It is roughly 4 miles east of Manchester.
If your Droylsden installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work. Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Droylsden properties, so you can choose who fixes them.
Exposure matters for every cavity wall. Greater Manchester has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Droylsden, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

If you have a guarantee
Contact your original installer first. If that does not resolve it within two months, CIGA's process applies for CIGA-guaranteed installs. Removing insulation yourself can void a guarantee, so speak to the provider before work.
