Cavity wall insulation removal for Sandhurst properties
Our Berkshire coverage takes in Sandhurst (GU47) and nearby Crowthorne, Bracknell and Wokingham. It is roughly 11 miles south-east of Reading.
Defects such as failed pointing, leaking gutters and bridged damp-proof courses are listed and priced separately for Sandhurst properties, so you can choose who fixes them. If your Sandhurst installation has a guarantee, we check it first; the guarantee route may cover the work.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Much of Berkshire sits in the more sheltered driving-rain zones of the UK, which widens the choice of fill. Exposed elevations, coastal sites and high ground still get checked wall by wall.
For regulations, if cavity wall insulation follows in Sandhurst, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.
Rules in England
Filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification if insulation work follows.

If you have a guarantee
Contact your original installer first. If that does not resolve it within two months, CIGA's process applies for CIGA-guaranteed installs. Removing insulation yourself can void a guarantee, so speak to the provider before work.
