Borescope cavity inspection for Weston-super-Mare properties
We cover Weston-super-Mare and the BS23 postcode district, including nearby Burnham-on-Sea, Clevedon and Nailsea. It is roughly 24 miles north of Taunton.
A survey in Weston-super-Mare gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound. Where a Weston-super-Mare wall shows cold patches or damp, the survey targets those areas first rather than sampling at random.
Before any material is chosen, exposure is checked. Somerset has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
In terms of approvals, if cavity wall insulation follows in Weston-super-Mare, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

How many holes?
Enough to be representative: typically several per elevation, plus targeted checks below windows, at corners and near any damp patches. Each one is photographed and logged.
