Borescope cavity inspection for Widnes properties
Widnes sits in Cheshire, around 14 miles north-east of Chester. We work across the WA8 district, including nearby Runcorn, Warrington and Ellesmere Port Town.
Buyers and sellers in Widnes often book this check when a survey report or EPC raises questions about the walls. A survey in Widnes gives you facts before anyone drills: what the wall is, what is in the cavity and whether it is sound.
Every elevation is judged on its own exposure. Cheshire has a mix of moderate and more exposed sites. Hilltop, coastal and west-facing walls take the brunt of wind-driven rain, so the survey records exposure for each elevation before a material is chosen.
On compliance, if cavity wall insulation follows in Widnes, filling a cavity is notifiable building work and needs a building notice or competent-person self-certification.

How many holes?
Enough to be representative: typically several per elevation, plus targeted checks below windows, at corners and near any damp patches. Each one is photographed and logged.
